THEATRE I'm going to be in a play for the Toronto Fringe Festival this year. Yes, it's true, I'm also an actor, though it's been a while since I've ridden that particular horse, but I'm back in the saddle.
The show is called "Some Kind of Hero". Written by Stan Rogal, and featuring myself & Wayne Ward. It's based very loosely on The Medea (ancient Greek tragedy) and is basically about a monumental relationship breakdown. It's at the ROBERT GILL THEATRE located at 214 College Street, 3rd Floor (St. George St entrance).
The show runs about 1 hour 15 minutes I think.

A sneak peak at the next documentary (still in process of creation) by Award winning filmmakers Jennifer Baichwal and Nick de Pencier (Manufactured Landscapes). Musicians Selina Martin and Martin Tielli will perform their original score live for this unique screening.
An acoustic set of music by internationally celebrated singer Margo Timmins and songwriter/guitarist Michael Timmins (Cowboy Junkies) with guitarist Josh Finlayson and singer Andy Maize (Skydiggers).
Dark Hand and the Lamplight visual artist Shary Boyle inspires wonderment and mirth.
Andrea Nann premieres her performance of choreographer Danny Grossman's signature award winning solo Memento Mori.
The multi dimensional, multi talented Tom Kuo and celebrated 'sonic activist', cellist/vocalist Anne Bourne will collaborate to create a sound environment for this year's SHEBANG!
